PIG" PROCESSES USES AND ADVANTAGES

A "PIG" in the industry is a tool that is sent through a pipeline, usually pressure driven. The main purpose of pipeline cleaning PIGS is to ensure that the pipeline is clean and free of obstructions. There are four main uses for PIGS:

• Physical separation between different liquids transported in pipes.
